The Sergiev Posad Glass Factory produces more than 300 types of products
The glass bottles and jars produced at the factory differ from their European counterparts in terms of their manufacturing quality, environmental friendliness, high level of water and chemical resistance, strength, and lightness, ideal geometry, and exclusive design.
The quality and safety management system for the manufactured products has been implemented, certified, and successfully operates at the factory in compliance with the requirements of the International Standards of ISO 9000, 22000 series, and НАССР principles.
The factory is equipped on a par with leading international glass container manufacturers. The factory has precision monitoring and measuring devices provided by Busсh&Spreen, AGR, IRIS, SGCC. The quality control of products is fully automated.
In 2014, the equipment and technology for the production of colour glass by feeder colouring was installed and mastered.
In 2016, the NNPB (Narrow Neck Press and Blow) process for the manufacturing of lightweight narrow-neck glass container articles was initiated. This technology allows the manufacture of lighter containers. The factory’s workforce enables the full production cycle, from design (the internal design office), to storage (sheltered warehouses), and transportation (railway and motor transport).
In 2019, a refurbishment was performed and a third workshop went into operation. A Heye glass forming machine was launched allowing glass containers to be produced using the NNPB method.
The consumers of the factory’s products are leading Russian and foreign food factories.
The factory supplies glass containers to Europe (Germany, Slovakia, Poland) as well as to consumers in Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Armenia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
